Welcome to "the nashtea," your favorite music city podcast. We are two cynical, slightly jaded people who once came to Tennessee with big hopes and dreams. Now we recount what worked for us, what didn't, warn you about industry pitfalls, laugh at ourselves, and build up our fellow singer/songwriter community who still stand a chance. Hailing from the northeast originally, Aly somewhat begrudgingly moved to Nashville in 2017 for a job offer straight out of college. She performed with a talented group of folks and tried to get accustomed to life in Tennessee. When the global pandemic forced her hand, she had to move to the mountains of North Carolina for a couple years. Realizing she had taken the city for granted, she transplanted back to Nashville and hasn't looked back. Now she's on the hunt for the best things to do in the city so she can share with you!
