Hey everybody. What's up and welcome to “the nashtea”: a music city podcast. My name is Aly and Ty is my fabulous co-host.. one of my very best friends.. probably has some of the most incredible stories that I've heard about this town. So you definitely want to stick around. If you love Music City or are thinking about pursuing a career in music, have questions about being an artist, or just want to hear massively unpopular opinions, then go ahead and download our first season of the nashtea for your binging pleasure.
We will be discussing music business, Nashville gossip, and general pop culture, and throw in some random rants episodes about anything and everything, which will indeed be very ranty, but fun. So stick around for that. All of this will come from two very different perspectives. Someone who's been in town for almost 20 years; a songwriter vet with label, pub deal, and touring experience.
And someone like me: who's been here for about five years and on again, off again, been writing and performing. We will be concluding the episodes with an I Read it on Reddit segment.
